Countryside Veterinary Hospital offers a multitude of services for you:

We have an in house  laboratory for routine blood work, urinalysis and cytology. When we need to send things out, we use the Atlantic Veterinary College which now has 24-hr response time, 6 days a week.

 

We have an in house pharmacy that stocks up to date and modern veterinary medicines. For items we do not stock, we use the local Keswick pharmacy to provide the medication needed. They can compound most medications into flavourful forms or use the standard tablet or capsule.

 

We have an in house radiology service that strives to make this process for your pet a stress free experience. We use a digital referral service for quick and easy access to a radiologist specialist if needed.

 

We provide prescription diets for various common health conditions for both feline and canine patients. Special order diets can be available within 24-48 hrs.

 

We provide emergency service for existing clients and people without a current Veterinarian. This service is available 24/7. You can just call the hospital at 506‑363‑3307, follow instructions and you will be looked after promptly. We realize this can be a very stressful time for people, so we strive to calm the situation through compassion and understanding of this difficult situation. With your pet's best interest at heart, for any patients requiring an emergency referral centre that provides 24 hr critical care, emergency surgery and or critical medical management above our ability, we do not hesitate to start the referral process immediately.

 

We offer an orthopedic referral service for veterinary hospitals in the Fredericton area as well as other cities and towns in New Brunswick and Maine. Dr. Prime’s internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists gained him extensive hands on experience from four Board Certified Veterinary Surgeons. This facility is highly recognized for its expertise in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Prime continued to practice and further develop his orthopaedic skills over the past 15 years and is a confident experienced orthopedic surgeon.
